The Rack BBQ opened its doors for business in the winter of 2005. Partners, Jeff Strunk, Chase Mckendry and Seth Westcott have been "sugarloafers" for decades. The Rack BBQ has won numerous awards over the past 10 years, including being voted by Outside Ski Magazine as the #1 Apres Ski Bar in North America. Before the Rack was a ski bar, this establishment has been home of Sugarloaf The Rack Ski Shop & Theo's Restaurant/Brew pub. Many of the original features are still in the building from the boot fitting area, to back room where the brewery was operating.
